We invite you to participate
The Olympiad is organized to support talented young researchers working in the field of pharmacy and pharmacology, to promote innovative ideas, and to strengthen international scientific cooperation.
Main Directions of the Olympiad
- Topical Issues of Modern Pharmacology
- Development of New Medicinal Products and Preclinical Research
- Development of Drugs Based on Medicinal Plants
- Biotechnology, Nanopharmacy, and Innovative Dosage Forms
- Digital Technologies in Pharmaceutical Education and Practice
Language of the Olympiad
The Olympiad will be conducted in Uzbek, Russian, and English.
Format of the Olympiad
The Olympiad will be held in a hybrid format (offline and online).
Date of the Olympiad
The Olympiad will take place on November 19–20, 2026.
PARTICIPATION RULES
Students of medical higher education institutions are invited to participate in the Olympiad according to their field of study and year of study.
Stage 1 (Selection Stage)
The first stage of the Olympiad (selection stage) is held among students at each higher education institution. Up to three (3) most talented participants are selected from each institution. Each participant may choose only one academic direction.
The list of Olympiad participants and their accompanying supervisors, approved by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs (in accordance with Appendix 1), must be sent to the following email addresses by November 1, 2026:

Stage 2
The second stage will be held in Bukhara State Medical Institute in a hybrid format (offline and online).
THE OLYMPIAD CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING FOUR COMPETITIONS:
1) Greeting of the Higher Education Institution Team (Video Presentation)
In the video, the team presents their higher education institution and their city.
Duration: 10 minutes
Maximum score: 10 points
The Olympiad is designed to evaluate participants’ theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and professional competence in the field of pharmacology and pharmacy through the following stages:
Stage I – Test Exam
In this stage, participants’ theoretical knowledge in pharmacy and pharmacology is assessed through a test exam.
Test questions cover the classification of drugs, mechanisms of action, indications, side effects, and pharmacy-related topics.
Maximum score: 25 points
Stage II – Oral Interview
In the oral interview stage, participants’ professional knowledge and skills are assessed in the following areas:
Solving a clinical case situation
(1 case)— Maximum 25 points
Stage III – Assessment of Practical Skills
In this stage, participants are evaluated on their skills in preparing, storing, recommending, and safely using medicines, as well as their practical laboratory skills in pharmacy-related disciplines.
Maximum score: 40 points
Final Results
Final results are determined based on the total score obtained by each participant in all stages. Winners are announced according to the final results.
