About the course

Oncology is a medical and biological science that studies oncogenes is in humans, animals, and plants theoretically, experimentally, and clinically, and develops methods for detecting, treating, and preventing tumors. There is a distinction between experimental and clinical oncology. Oncology was formed in the 20th century based on the achievements of experimental medicine (transplantation of tumor cells, and then, acting from the outside, the formation of tumors in animals). Humankind has known tumors for a very long time (Hippocrates, K. Galen), the first written sources about it were found in Egypt, China and India before our era.
