Academic Mobility of the Faculty of Bukhara State Medical Institute Named After Abu Ali Ibn Sina at the Department of Pediatric Diseases Named After Prof. N.A. Barlybaeva
Academic mobility of the faculty is one of the key directions of international and educational activities at Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU).
Following the established tradition, from February 17 to February 27, 2025, the faculty members of Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina participated in the Academic Mobility Program at the Department of Pediatric Diseases named after Prof. N.A. Barlybaeva.



As part of the academic mobility program, on February 19, 2025, Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics-1 at Bukhara State Medical Institute, PhD, neonatologist, and pediatrician of the highest category, Gulnoz Giyozovna Yuldasheva, conducted an international master class on “Current Issues in Pediatrics” for doctors, interns, and residents. The training covered 8 academic hours (within the framework of non-formal education).
From February 17 to February 27, 2025, assistants of the Department of Pediatrics-1 at Bukhara State Medical Institute—Zumrad Tukhtaevna Nabieva, Ozoda Rajabturdiyevna Emgurova, and Behruz Shavkatugli Bakhodirov—conducted practical training in the discipline of “Pediatric Diseases” at the Department of Pediatric Diseases named after Prof. N.A. Barlybaeva. The training sessions, totaling 60 hours, were held for undergraduate students specializing in Pediatrics and General Medicine.



As part of the planned activities of the Department of Pediatric Diseases named after Prof. N.A. Barlybaeva, Assistant A.A. Albakova conducted an open lesson using the TBL (Team-Based Learning) method on the topic “Acute Rheumatic Fever in Children” with 4th-year students from group OM-21-043r.
Additionally, as part of the academic mobility program, Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics-1 at Bukhara State Medical Institute, PhD, neonatologist, and pediatrician of the highest category, Gulnoz Giyozovna Yuldasheva, provided consultations for 25 patients in the departments of neurosurgery and cardio-rheumatology. She also conducted clinical rounds in the nephrology and intensive care units at the clinical base of Children’s City Clinical Hospital No. 2.



The faculty members of Bukhara State Medical Institute visited the “Museum of the History of Medicine of KazNMU Named After S.D. Asfendiyarov” and the KazNMU Simulation Medical Center. Additionally, staff of the Department of Pediatric Diseases named after Prof. N.A. Barlybaeva organized a cultural visit to the Kazakh National Drama Theater named after M. Auezov to watch the play “Möldir Makhabbat” (“Pure Love”).
Such friendly faculty visits contribute to the development of international cooperation, enable educators to better understand global scientific and educational trends, and significantly enrich mutual experience.
