Speaking with the guests in the institute’s small hall, Rector Shuhrat Teshayev discussed the issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation according to the agreements to be signed. Detailed information was given about higher education institutions of both sides.

According to information, an agreement was signed on the establishment of a clinical residency stage in Oncosurgery, Cardiology. According to it, accepted students study on the basis of the 1+1 program. It should be noted that this higher education institution is one of the leading institutions in these areas.

In addition, the parties discussed the opening of joint educational programs in scientific research, online lectures, and undergraduate and graduate programs.

To date, cooperation relations of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina with the medical and higher education institutions of the USA are developing. More than 10 contracts signed with US institutions are being implemented and will bear fruit in the near future.

At the moment, our compatriot Professor Alisher Dadaboyev, who has been working at the University of South Carolina in Charleston for several years, is giving a presentation to the young students of the institute on the topic “The system of training doctors in the USA”.
