Ne’matova Malika – “The most agile girl“, Mutalimova Zulfizar – “The most knowledgeable girl” and Abdullayeva Charos – “The most graceful girl” were awarded. The students who won the prize were awarded diplomas and souvenirs by the administration of the institute.

Currently, an international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the memory of professor Orziyev Zavkiddin Mansurovich is being held at the Abu Ali Ibn Sina Bukhara State Medical Institute on the topic “Current problems of internal diseases, a new approach to treatment”.

Famous scientists of our country and visiting scientists from the Kyrgyz Republic are participating in the event.

In order to ensure the implementation of the decision “On approving the concept of systematic promotional activities carried out by young people to combat the spread of human immunodeficiency virus infection in the Republic of Uzbekistan” at the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino A roundtable discussion was organized about HIV infection, ways of its transmission and prevention, healthy lifestyle and its principles.

Major F. Utaganov, the responsible officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, Captain G. Rajabova, the responsible officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Bukhara region, Sh. Teshayev, the rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute, and students took part in the event. During the event, experts provided information on the history of the origin of HIV infection, the situation in the world, in our Republic, in our region, ways of transmission, and preventive measures.

When a person plays sports, his body gets better and his muscles don’t get tired quickly. The functioning of the nervous-endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory and other vital organs and tissues of a healthy person increases. Sports training causes rapid regeneration of tissues in the human body, keeping it young, healthy and fresh.

Zulfia Israilova is a famous and talented Uzbek poetess. A bright artist, a woman who keenly felt the heart of an ordinary person – a hardworking woman who valiantly fought for the equal rights of Eastern women in society.

The 109th anniversary of the birth of Zulfiya Khanim, the famous poetess of our nation, was celebrated on the initiative of professors and students of the “Biochemistry” department of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino.

Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino was visited by Webster University Rector Antony Jarvis, Health Program Coordinator Shahlo Miralimova, Graduate Admission Coordinator Azimakhon Yusupova and Graduate Programs Manager Oybek Imomov.

According to the contract, from the 2024-2025 academic year, the bachelor’s degree programs “higher nursing”, “biology”, “chemistry” and “psychology” will be established, existing in the institute issues of study of educational programs and development of new programs, opening of these educational areas in the future at the Bukhara State Medical Institute and selection of teaching professors, sending leading specialists from the United States for the purpose of launching programs was discussed.

Negotiations were conducted regarding the development of these programs. In the future, it was agreed to open a Webster University center at the Bukhara State Medical Institute and to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions.
