Clinical Residency (Ordinatura) Admission Announced!
22.07.2025 2025-07-22 15:23Admission to the clinical residency (ordinatura) of Bukhara State Medical Institute for the 2025–2026 academic year is carried out in accordance with the plan of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Order No. 214.
Applications for clinical residency and internship are submitted online via the Ministry of Health’s information system: medtoifa.ssv.uz.
Applications can be submitted 24/7, including weekends and holidays. If submitted after working hours or on non-working days, they are considered officially submitted on the next working day.
Required documents:
- Diploma of higher education (or transcript for those who graduated on a state grant basis);
- For citizens of Uzbekistan who graduated from foreign medical universities — nostrification certificate (not required for countries with mutual recognition agreements);
- A document confirming admission privileges (e.g., a certificate from the regional health department confirming three years of continuous work in remote areas).

✅ A new procedure has been approved for applying and conducting the selection process for admission to clinical residency and internship programs in medical specialties.
⬇️ Based on this procedure:
➡️ The set of exam subjects and assessment criteria have been approved in accordance with the relevant undergraduate education fields and chosen specialty.
📌 Applications will only be accepted electronically through the information system of the Center for Assessment of Medical and Pharmaceutical Staff Qualifications — medtoifa.ssv.uz — by responsible secretaries of admission commissions at medical universities, their branches, professional development centers, national scientific-practical medical centers, research institutes, and leading private clinics authorized to train residents.
❌ Applicants are not allowed to participate in the selection process at multiple institutions simultaneously.
📆 Documents can be submitted 24/7 (including weekends and holidays) until 23:59 on August 21, 2025.
📲 Within one working day, candidates will receive an SMS notification via the system with a justified decision about their admission to the selection process.
💻 The selection will be conducted in the form of computer-based tests organized by the Center and its regional branches.
🖥 Details of test subjects and the list of recommended literature will be published on the website tmbm.ssv.uz at least 10 days before the exam.

🩺 Students of Bukhara State Medical Institute are Undergoing Internship in Turkey
21.07.2025 2025-07-22 11:02🌍 Students of the Turkey Medical Faculty, established in cooperation between the Abu Ali ibn Sina Bukhara State Medical Institute and the University of Health Sciences of Turkey, are continuing their traditional summer internship in Turkey this year as well.

Currently, students have started their internship at one of the central hospitals in the city of Trabzon. All necessary conditions have been provided, giving them the opportunity to strengthen their professional knowledge and skills through hands-on experience.

👨⚕️ 👩⚕️ During the internship, students are working under the guidance of experienced and qualified Turkish doctors. They are gaining practical lessons in areas such as medical diagnostics, treatment, patient communication, teamwork, and quick decision-making.

📚 It is worth noting that these students are learning not only from Uzbek professors but also from experts working in prestigious medical institutions in Turkey. This plays a significant role in enhancing their professional training at an international level.

21.07.2025 2025-07-22 10:27🏛 On July 18, 2025, a preventive event on the topic “Preventing Earthquakes and Fire Hazards” was held at the “Jo‘yzar” wellness center affiliated with Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute. The event was organized by the Emergency Situations Department of Bukhara Region.

🔗 During the event, participants were provided with detailed information about the importance of strictly following fire safety rules in social facilities, markets, public spaces, and other key areas, as well as the correct procedures to follow in emergencies.

♻️ How to act during an earthquake;
♻️ Methods of protecting yourself and others;
♻️ Immediate actions to take in case of fire;
♻️ Recommendations on raising public awareness and safety culture.

🧬🧫 Each student selected an innovative idea in their field and is working on developing it into a startup project. The chosen topics focus on solving pressing current issues.
🎓 With the participation of pharmacology department teachers and students, the composition of medicinal plants was initially analyzed. Currently, the process of collecting and packaging the plants is underway. The next stage will include pre-clinical (experimental) testing.
📚 The club aims to promote traditional medicine remedies based on the teachings of Ibn Sina and to encourage the development of natural, safe plant-based medicines as alternatives to synthetic drugs.
