As part of the “Essential 90 Days” initiative taking place across the country, important projects are being implemented.

As you know, from July 14 to 23, entrance test exams are being held for applicants who submitted documents to higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan.

Today, the heads of higher educational institutions located in Bukhara city visited and inspected the readiness of the locations where the exams are to be held.

During the visit, the conditions created for applicants and their parents were reviewed. In particular, the Rector of Abu Ali ibn Sina Bukhara State Medical Institute, Shuhrat Teshayev, visited the examination areas and became familiar with the facilities organized for parents.

🔎 Goal — to ensure fair, transparent, and effective exam processes and create appropriate conditions for applicants and their families.

🏛 On July 11, 2025, Russian students who successfully completed their summer internship were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts in a ceremonial event.

📌 As a reminder: four students from one of the leading medical universities of the Russian Federation — Izhevsk State Medical Academy — arrived at the Abu Ali ibn Sina Bukhara State Medical Institute for practical experience.

📎 The students, studying in General Medicine and Pediatrics, successfully completed a 20-day summer qualification internship at the institute’s clinic and other relevant medical centers.

🔗 Ensuring equal participation of women and girls in science and innovation, and creating favorable conditions for realizing their potential, remains a vital issue. Based on the UN General Assembly resolution “Science, Technology and Innovation for Development”, February 11 has been declared the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

🔎 In connection with this significant date, a week of scientific, practical, and educational events was launched under the slogan “Educated Women – the Mirror of Society”. As part of the week, a meaningful gathering was held at Bukhara State Medical Institute aimed at supporting women’s and girls’ participation in science and enhancing their social and professional engagement.

📌 The event discussed topics such as gender equality, the role of women in societal development, and ensuring their free and equal involvement in political and scientific spheres.

🚴‍♀️ On March 5, 2025, in celebration of March 8 – International Women’s Day, a cycling marathon was organized to promote women’s health, encourage their active participation in society, and support gender equality.

📍 The marathon route stretched from Bukhara International Airport to the Bahouddin Naqshband intersection, aiming to promote a healthy lifestyle through sports.

📎 Female staff, tutors, and students from Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute actively took part in the event, showcasing their enthusiasm for sports and social engagement.

🎯 The event contributed to strengthening positive developments in women’s health, expanding their role and opportunities in society.

As part of the “Important 90 Days” project, another spiritual and educational event was organized at the Bukhara Regional Multidisciplinary Children’s Medical Center.

Children receiving treatment at the hospital actively participated in the event, gathering in the hospital library. During the event, they drew pictures of the national flag, recited poems about the Motherland, peace, and independence, and received various artistic and fairy tale books as gifts.

📚 Such events aim to uplift children’s spirits, enrich their spiritual outlook, and create a positive emotional environment.

The event was successfully organized by mentors and students (groups 431–438) of the Pediatrics Department at the Abu Ali ibn Sina Bukhara State Medical Institute.

🎗A woman is a source of inspiration in life, a symbol of love and devotion. She is the foundation of humanity’s continuity, societal development, and family stability. The full realization of women’s potential and active participation in all fields is a crucial step toward ensuring gender equality.

🎬 In line with this idea, students of Group 173 of the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences produced a video clip expressing deep and impactful thoughts about respect for women, their unique beauty, intellectual capacity, and equal and active role in society.

💬 Each of us contributes to progress by promoting gender equality and cultivating a culture of respect, care, and appreciation for women in society.
