🏛 On July 5 of this year, an important and meaningful event took place at the Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute. As part of the “Important 90 Days” initiative, more than 100 schoolchildren and young people from schools No. 41, 11, 26, and 39 of Yangiobod and Moxi Xossa neighborhoods visited the institute.

👤 The students and youth were warmly welcomed by the rector of the institute, Mr. Sh. Teshayev.


🏛 On July 5 of this year, a roundtable discussion was held in the assembly hall of the Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute on the topic “Spiritually Mature Youth – Builders of New Uzbekistan.” The event was attended by Nasiba Ismatilloyevna Olimova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Biomedicine, tutors, and students.

At the Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute, an online dialogue was organized with the parents of students to prevent crime and corruption during the summer vacation period.

During the meeting, the rector’s advisor M.G. Mahmudov provided detailed information on legal violations recorded in the past and current year. In addition, faculty deans and staff of the Anti-Corruption “Compliance Control” system answered parents’ questions and gave explanations on how to prevent violations of the law during the vacation period.

On December 25, 2024, a meeting was organized to implement Order No. 36 of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, titled “On the approval of the regulation on the conditions for the storage, sale, distribution, and accounting of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors.”

The meeting was attended by Professor Sh. Teshaev, Rector of the Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute, E. Oltiyev, Head of the Bukhara Regional Health Department, S. Amrullaev, Head of the Anti-Narcotics Department of the Regional Internal Affairs Directorate, as well as deputies for medical affairs, pharmacists, chief and senior nurses of city and district medical associations.

The meeting focused on strengthening control over processes involving narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors, and set clear tasks for improving the legal procedures of storage, distribution, and accounting of such substances.

A representative of law enforcement agencies delivered a presentation on current legislation and control procedures in this area.

Additionally, Rector Sh. Teshaev provided information about the use of traditional medicine and natural herbs, including medicinal plants cultivated at the institute.

The meeting also addressed critical issues such as polypharmacy, overdiagnosis, and avoiding collaboration with foreign pharmaceutical companies based on incentive bonuses.

Today, 4 students from one of the leading higher medical education institutions of the Russian Federation — Izhevsk State Medical Academy — arrived at the Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute to undergo practical training.

📄 This visit is being carried out within the framework of the academic mobility program, based on the memorandum of mutual cooperation signed between the institutions in 2024.

👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ The students, studying in the fields of General Medicine and Pediatrics, will undergo a 20-day summer qualification internship at the institute’s clinic and other relevant medical centers.

🔹 Today, the rector of the institute, Shuhrat Teshayev, warmly welcomed the visiting students and introduced them to the practical processes, available facilities, and opportunities.

📚 During the internship, each student has been assigned an experienced and qualified professor as a supervisor.
