Republic’s Chief Allergist Visits Bukhara State Medical Institute
31.05.2025 2025-06-02 11:32As part of the 4th Traditional Forum of Allergists and Immunologists of Uzbekistan, the Director of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Allergology and Clinical Immunology, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Ilmira Sadullayevna Razikova, visited the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina today.


During the visit, the institute’s rector, Professor Shuhrat Teshayev, welcomed the guest and provided detailed information about the institute’s activities, scientific research directions, and practical training infrastructure. Professor Razikova was impressed by the conditions created, particularly the opportunities for young specialists to study using modern technologies and conduct research.


Key facilities were toured, including the information resource center, smart greenhouse, simulation center, and clinical base buildings. Professor Razikova praised the advanced equipment of the laboratories, simulation classrooms, and the resources available for developing clinical skills.


The visit also emphasized the need to further expand scientific and practical cooperation between the Republican Allergy Center and the Bukhara State Medical Institute, engage in experience exchange, develop joint research projects, and offer specialty training programs.


At the conclusion of the visit, both parties expressed confidence that such exchanges would initiate a new stage not only for science but also for the practical healthcare system, especially in the fields of allergology and immunology.

A regular meeting of the Academic Council of Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute — the 10th session — is currently taking place.

During the 10th meeting of the Academic Council of the Bukhara State Medical Institute, several important issues related to the activities of the educational institution were critically reviewed and analyzed. Throughout the session, critical remarks were made regarding the performance of certain responsible leaders, and appropriate warnings were issued.
It was also announced that Shohida Naimova, who had been serving as the Secretary of the Academic Council, was relieved of her duties due to a job transfer. She has been succeeded by Dr. Hilola Sharifovna Yahyoyeva, PhD in Medical Sciences.

➡️ The forum, dedicated to the topic “Allergology Services in Uzbekistan: Problems and Solutions,” began with a video message from the Minister of Health, A. Khudoyarov, addressed to the participants.
💬 During the forum, it was noted that in accordance with the Presidential Decree dated November 23, 2023, “On Measures to Improve the Prevention and Treatment of Allergic Diseases,” the field of allergology underwent a complete transformation, and a unified vertical management system was introduced.
🔎 By extending the level of service provision to district levels, specialized allergology services have become more accessible to the population.



✅ In summary, the center has aligned its operations with international standards. Recently, the institution was awarded ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 7101:2023 international quality certificates, serving as clear evidence of ongoing efforts and improvements.

📝 The head of the institute’s Compliance Control Department for Combating Corruption, Kh.B. Fayziyev, also addressed the audience. He elaborated on the tasks set during the meeting of the National Council for Combating Corruption held on March 5, 2025, under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh.M. Mirziyoyev. He called on members of the student club to take an active role in the fight against corruption in our society.

New Horizons in Medical Education: Bukhara Medical Institute Signs Agreements with Azerbaijani Universities

This prestigious and promising event serves as a vital platform for enhancing cooperation in education between the two countries, expanding academic exchanges, and sharing experiences in modern scientific fields.

Within the framework of the forum, representatives of higher education institutions from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are exchanging ideas and reaching important agreements on modern educational trends, scientific research, and innovative projects. The event plays a significant role in strengthening strategic cooperation between higher educational institutions.
At the forum, Professor Shuhrat Teshaev, Rector of the Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute, delivered a speech addressing the development of the field, international integration, and increasing scientific potential. He also signed memorandums of cooperation with two leading universities in Azerbaijan.


During the meeting, Rector of Baku State University Elchin Babaev presented the university’s history, medical research achievements, and the activities of the specialized Department of Biomedical Materials. A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Bukhara State Medical Institute and Baku State University to develop joint scientific research in the field of genetics.

The parties also agreed on plans for cooperation in the following priority areas:
- Conducting joint scientific research in the fields of genetics, anatomy, and morphology;
- Assigning mutual reviewers and opponents in academic councils;
- Implementing collaborative scientific research and innovative projects;
- Enhancing student and faculty exchange programs;
- Organizing summer school programs with partner universities;
- Sharing experience and developing qualification courses and research projects with universities that do not have medical faculties, particularly in medical sciences, biotechnology, pharmacy, and ecology;
- Launching joint dissertation defenses and involving faculty from partner institutions in evaluation processes.
Additionally, an agreement was signed with Nakhchivan University of Azerbaijan to strengthen comprehensive cooperation in the future.
