🔹He got acquainted with the scientific research and innovation projects being implemented at the institute, as well as with the products grown in the smart greenhouse established in cooperation with South Korea.

🔹Accompanied by the rector of the institute, Shuhrat Teshayev, and rectors of other higher educational institutions in the region, he also studied medicinal plants cultivated to promote traditional medicine.

Mr. Buzrukxonov shared his relevant recommendations.

🔹Additionally, the Deputy Minister reviewed the projects aimed at turning the university into a “Green Campus” and expressed his views on improving the existing infrastructure, protecting the environment, and addressing ecological issues.

During the meeting, the content of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Combating Corruption” and “On Conflict of Interest” was explained. Students were reminded of the importance of strictly following internal regulations and the code of ethics, and avoiding any forms of corruption. In addition, surveys were conducted among students regarding any corruption incidents they had encountered or could potentially face during the session period, final assessments, or throughout the educational process.

At the Department of Neurology in the institute’s clinic, a robotic exoskeleton rehabilitation device has been purchased and installed. This device is used to support the restoration and improvement of movement functions in patients with mobility and musculoskeletal disorders.

To construct educational buildings for 2,000 student places to meet the needs of Bukhara State Medical Institute, 1 hectare of vacant land has been allocated on the territory of the institute’s new 8.2-hectare campus. To carry out construction work on this site, an official letter (No. 03/160) dated January 8, 2025, was sent to the Bukhara branch of “UZGASHKLITI” SUE, requesting the development of a site plan and geological survey (topographic mapping). As of today, the site plan has been completed, and geological studies are ongoing.

Renovation work has been completed in the Angiography Room of the Bukhara State Medical Institute Clinic. Equipment has been installed in the renovated rooms, and the room is now operational.

On May 21, 2025, at the Bukhara State Medical Institute, the closing ceremony of the 5th International Medical Olympiad, held under the title “From the Teachings of Abu Ali ibn Sina — to the Third Renaissance”, took place in the theater building located within the historical complex “Ancient and Eternal Bukhara” in the city of Bukhara.
