🩺 During the Olympiad, participants’ theoretical knowledge was assessed through test questions in anesthesiology and resuscitation, cardiac surgery, endoscopy, obstetrics and gynecology, and neurosurgery. This helps determine their level of expertise in their respective fields and enables them to apply their knowledge effectively in future professional activities. This event not only serves as a platform for testing knowledge but also significantly contributes to enriching students’ professional experience.

As part of the forum, participants are performing surgical operations during theoretical exams and practical sessions.

Bukhara, a city where ancient and modern sciences harmoniously merge, is once again hosting a major scientific event. The Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina has launched the International Forum of Students and Young Scientists on “Morphology and Surgery.”

On February 17, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation hosted an open dialogue meeting with university rectors, attended by Minister Qo‘ng‘irotboy Sharipov and First Deputy Prosecutor General Bahriddin Valiev. The meeting focused on attracting foreign investment and increasing export performance, discussing opportunities and existing challenges in this area. The event gathered university leaders, representatives of relevant ministries, and agencies.

During the dialogue, university rectors presented their proposals on attracting investments, and participants exchanged views on existing challenges and their possible solutions.

The traditional Boburxonlik Festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Bukhara State Medical Institute. The event was opened by the institute’s vice-rector, Zubayda Bahronova, who spoke about the literary heritage of the king and poet Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur and its significance.

The festival honored the renowned figure of Uzbek classical literature, Z.M. Babur, and his works. Students recited Babur’s rubaiyat and ghazals, expressing their deep respect for his philosophical and literary legacy.

Additionally, students enriched the event with theatrical performances, depicting Babur’s era and historical scenes. These well-prepared creative acts added artistic depth to the program.

Strengthening public health and fostering a physically healthy and intellectually developed generation are among the top priorities of state policy. In this regard, in line with the healthcare reforms initiated by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, significant scientific and educational events are being held in the country to improve the quality of training specialists in surgery and to establish international cooperation.

One such event is the “Morphology and Surgery” International Forum, which contributes to the training of specialists in surgery not only among students and young scientists but also on a global scale.
