The admission process for the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan will continue until April 10, 2025. In this regard, academy officials held a promotional meeting with fifth-year medical university students.

The academy offers educational opportunities in bachelor’s, internship, clinical residency, master’s, and doctoral programs. Students are provided with free dormitory accommodation, three hot meals a day, military uniforms, a scholarship, free medical care, and transportation benefits.

Applicants were encouraged to contact the academy for admission requirements and additional information.

Today, on February 15, a job fair and employment distribution event called “Career Day” was held at the Abu Ali ibn Sina Bukhara State Medical Institute for graduates of the Medical Prevention program.

The event was attended by the head of the Bukhara Regional Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, A.A. To‘xtayev, regional SEO and PHC (Public Health Centers) leaders, as well as the rector of the institute, Sh. Teshayev. During the event, graduates were provided with information about vacant job positions in the region and districts, and employment contracts were officially signed.

A total of 64 graduates of the Medical Prevention program met with employers and received job offers.

For reference, in the current academic year, 1,560 students at Bukhara State Medical Institute are set to receive their diplomas. Among them, 1,317 are undergraduate students, 17 are master’s students, and 226 are clinical residents.

Such events aimed at ensuring employment for young medical professionals will continue.

🏛✅ In the assembly hall of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina, an educational event was organized as part of the month-long campaign against drug addiction among students. Professors, teachers, and specialists participated in the event, providing information about the harmful consequences of drug addiction.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-12 dated January 17, 2025, “On Measures to Ensure Employment and Reduce Poverty,” Thursday has been designated as “Sports Day” in all organizations.

➡️ In order to promote a healthy lifestyle among the population and encourage participation in morning exercises and evening walks, a sports event was held among the staff of Bukhara State Medical Institute in the institute’s sports hall.

On February 12 of this year, an important seminar on emergency response and civil protection was held at Bukhara State Medical Institute.

The event was conducted by senior lecturers and specialists from the Institute of Civil Protection.

During the seminar, participants were provided with comprehensive information on ensuring safety during emergencies, as well as the correct evacuation procedures for the population and employees.

Additionally, discussions covered natural and man-made disasters, methods for their prevention, and ways to mitigate their consequences, along with practical recommendations.

Professors, faculty members, staff, and other responsible individuals of the institute took part in the event.

Theoretical knowledge in the field of civil protection was reinforced with practical exercises, where participants engaged in hands-on training based on different emergency scenarios.

At the end of the seminar, all participants were awarded certificates.

This event played a crucial role in increasing awareness of civil protection and safety issues, as well as in developing the skills needed to respond effectively in emergency situations.

The organizers and experts from the Institute of Civil Protection were thanked for their contributions, emphasizing the importance of regularly holding such events to enhance public safety.
