More than 150 students and staff of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina took part in the public running marathon “Student Race”.

The goal of the marathon is to promote a healthy lifestyle among students, create a mechanism for regular running by students, teachers and staff, increase the number of students regularly involved in physical education and sports, and widely involve students in studying. institutions in sports events, and organize competitions between them.

It consists of creating the necessary conditions and infrastructure for promoting a healthy lifestyle among students with the aim of creating conditions for students to engage in sports in their free time.

Today, in cooperation with the Bukhara Regional Department of Emergency Situations and the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina, on October 13, an educational scientific and practical seminar was held on reducing the risk of international natural disasters.

During the seminar, measures were taken to deal with the risks of natural disasters and the correct actions to take in case of them. The teachers and students of the educational institution were evacuated upon the conditional signal of an earthquake. Volunteer rescuers and volunteers of the Red Crescent Foundation provided first aid to the victims.

Following the event, the organizers and participants of the seminar were presented with a letter of thanks and certificates of honor from the Head of the Emergency Situations Department.

Yesterday, in order to meaningfully organize their free time, 2nd year students of the medical faculty of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina, together with their teachers, performed the play “Kazikey” based on the work of Chingiz Aitmatov. Actors of the Musical and Drama Theater of the Bukhara Region attended the play.

This theatre, in addition to providing meaningful entertainment and good mood, helped students to understand their national identity.

Today, in cooperation with the Bukhara Regional Department of Emergency Situations and the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina, a scientific-practical training seminar dedicated to October 13 – the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction – was held.

During the seminar, activities were carried out to raise awareness of natural disaster risks and to practice proper actions in emergency situations. Based on a conditional earthquake signal, teachers and students of the educational institution were evacuated. Volunteer rescuers and Red Crescent volunteers provided first aid to the injured.

At the end of the event, the organizers and participants of the seminar were awarded letters of gratitude and honorary certificates by the Head of the Emergency Situations Department.

On October 10, under the slogan “Your Initiative – For Your Future”, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation organized the Republican Forum of the “Qizlarjon” Club. The event was attended by the chairwomen of the “Qizlarjon” Clubs of all higher education institutions of our country, as well as the chairwomen of the Women’s Advisory Councils.

Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Qo‘ng‘irotboy Sharipov, congratulated the participants and emphasized the wide-scale efforts being carried out in our country to create appropriate conditions for girls.
