Under the leadership of the rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino Sh.J. Teshaeva, L.N. Niyazova, Kh.N. Kayumova, M.A. Atayeva and members of the delegation of the NIKOM organization Lee Young Min, Song Dan. Hee, Song Yongil, Kang Dong Yun held negotiations with the delegation of the institute.

Based on the agreement signed in December 2023, the possibilities of developing cooperation and submitting a project to the South Korean ODA fund were discussed. Implementation of the research phase of the project: study of infrastructure and climatic conditions, analysis of available medicinal plants.

This project consists of 3 stages. The project is planned to be implemented in 2 regions. in Tashkent and Bukhara. The project budget is US$5 million. The implementation period includes 2026–2030.

The main goal of the project: to establish the production of medicines by processing natural medicinal plants grown by the Bukhara State Medical Institute.

As previously reported, paragraph 1 of Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-37 dated February 21, 2024 introduced the practice of anonymously assigning young people required to work separately to responsible managers.

All local leaders are working to achieve this goal. In other words, the assigned problems of troubled youth are studied and specific solutions are found for them.

Rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino Shukhrat Teshaev received information about the condition of young people from low-income households living in the Mirzayan and Mustakillik microdistricts of the Gijduvan region.

In particular, Shukhrat Teshaev was given the necessary technical equipment to the young people assigned to him, and based on the program of relevant measures of the “road map”, targeted work is being carried out to remove them from the red category.

Under the leadership of the rector, the institute’s staff regularly studies and solves the problems of this category of youth.

The priorities identified by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to the Bukhara region on May 31 – June 1 embody the development strategy of ancient Bukhara for the near future. In particular, at a meeting on the socio-economic development of the region, the head of our state set the priority task of transforming the region into a region free from poverty, unemployment and crime, as well as creating the “Bukhara experience”. in a number of other important areas.

The team of the Bukhara State Medical Institute has begun practical work to help reduce poverty in the region.

Today, a group of teachers led by the director of the Karshi branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President, Jasur Eshtemirov, and the rector, Shukhrat Teshaev, held discussions with the relevant officials of the microdistricts of the Kogon region about the practical work to be carried out in the future.

At a recent video conference meeting held by the head of our state, in order to sharply reduce crime among young people in the area where educational institutions are located, improve the spiritual and educational environment, sports grounds, libraries and event halls of institutions were always open for use, which emphasized the need.
