Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina maintains cooperative relationships with a number of universities and medical associations around the world in the field of medicine. In particular, on June 22 of this year, a delegation from the Xinjiang Medical University of China visited the Bukhara State Medical Institute. The Chinese guests expressed their proposals for the development of traditional medicine in our country and expressed their readiness to cooperate with the institute in its implementation. They also examined medicinal plants grown on the territory of the institute.

At the end of the meeting, Rector Sh. Teshaev presented the guests with souvenirs with the image of Bukharay Sharif and the emblem of the institute.

At the Bukhara State Medical Institute, on the occasion of Youth Day on June 30, a meeting of industry leaders and student youth was held under the slogan “Let’s unite the youth of New Uzbekistan.”

The event was attended by the prosecutor of the Bukhara region Ulugbek Aslonovich Khamdamov, the head of the regional intelligence service I. Tursunov and the head of the Agency for Youth Affairs Sh. The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a training and practical seminar for employees of the “seven” microdistrict of the Karovulbazar district.

At the seminar, Jasurbek Eshtemirov, director of the Karshi branch of the Academy of Public Administration, Shukhrat Teshaev, rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute, Kakhramon Tursunov, head of the district training course at the regional administration, told participants about ensuring employment, reducing poverty, preventing crime and combating migration, and gave lectures on organizing work based on a new approach.
