RUDN Delegation Visit — An Important Step Towards New Opportunities

A delegation from the Institute of Medicine of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), including its leadership and leading academic staff, visited Bukhara State Medical Institute. This visit is significant as it aims to further strengthen cooperation between the two higher education institutions, develop existing joint educational programs, and expand scientific collaboration.

The delegation included Svetlana Nikolaevna Razumova, Deputy Director for Dentistry, Head of the Department of Propaedeutics of Dental Diseases, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor; Nikolay Vladimirovich Sturov, Deputy Director for General Medicine, Head of the Department of General Medical Practice, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor; and Alexey Yuryevich Abramov, Director of the Institute of Medicine of RUDN, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor.

During the visit, the current state and future prospects of cooperation between Bukhara State Medical Institute and the RUDN Institute of Medicine were discussed. In particular, special attention was given to expanding the joint educational program in dentistry, increasing its quotas, and elevating it to a new qualitative level.

At the meeting with the Rector of the Institute, Shuhrat Teshayev, an in-depth exchange of views took place on the development of academic mobility, expansion of faculty and student exchange programs, implementation of joint research projects, and support for innovative ideas.

The parties also reached agreements on introducing modern educational technologies, jointly organizing international scientific and practical conferences, and exchanging advanced experience in the field of medicine.

At the conclusion of the meeting, specific plans were outlined to further deepen bilateral cooperation, elevate it to a new level, and expand the scope of joint projects.
