An Uzbek language olympiad was organized at the Abu Ali Ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute among international students, specifically those enrolled in the General Medicine (Gen Med) program. ​The olympiad was conducted in accordance with the Regulation approved by Order No. 321 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations dated August 3, 2026. Its primary goal is to increase international students’ interest in the Uzbek language, encourage their desire to learn the language, and identify and support talented students. ​During the olympiad, participants demonstrated their knowledge and skills in the Uzbek language. The assessments covered listening comprehension, reading comprehension, a lexical-grammatical test, written speech, and national-cultural knowledge. ​The event served to assist international students in adapting to the Uzbek language environment, foster their interest in our national culture, and strengthen friendship and intercultural dialogue among different nations. ​According to the olympiad results, the winners were announced as follows: ​
