Faculty history

Pediatric direction in the 2016-2017 academic year pediatrics and medical science were combined as part of the faculty. From 2017 to 2021  Pediatrics, medicine, prophylaxis, medicine, biology, medicine, pharmacy, culture, culture of activity are organized. It was established on August 27, 2021 on the basis of the minutes of the 1st meeting of the Institute’s Council and the order of the Director of the Institute dated August 30, 2021.The faculty trains students in the direction of Pediatrics. The faculty has 565 students, including 16 international students. The faculty has 254 students, including 311 children.

Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino attaches great importance to the radical reform of the education and upbringing system in order to create a healthy socio-psychological atmosphere in the education of young people, which is the basis of our future. The educational process consists in the coherence of the activities of the educator and the pupils. The educational process takes place within the framework of the social environment, which not only forms the knowledge, skills and abilities of each person, but also comprehensively affects the personality of the pupil. The role of mentors as well as teachers in ensuring the proper implementation of such a process is invaluable. Spiritual and educational work among students was carried out on an ongoing basis according to the plan. The main goal of spiritual and educational work is to educate young people based on the ideology of independence, spiritual patriotism, the formation of a sense of loyalty, pride in an independent country, its history, culture, rich spiritual and educational heritage. The main attention will be paid to the training of intelligent, proactive, spiritually competent doctors who meet international standards, are politically mature, understand the fundamental nature of social factors that can deal a crushing blow to any alien elements, vices that hinder the development of society. Ideological, political, spiritual, ideological conversations with students on these topics were held among the students. 1-2-3 cadets-coaches selected from among experienced teachers are attached to each course of the faculty. In order to organize their leisure activities in a meaningful way, students of the faculty participate in public events under the guidance of tutors, in amateur initiatives. They visit historical monuments and sights and historical monuments of the Republic, theaters and museums.

Educational-methodical work

The faculty trains doctors in the direction of “pediatric business ” -5510200″ general practitioner”. The term of study at the faculty is 6 years. The number of students at the faculty is 565, including 16 foreign students. At the faculty, 254 students study on the basis of state grants, 311-on a contract basis.

Children from all regions of the republic study at the pediatric faculty. Also, entrepreneurial states and CIS students also study. The weight of the contingent of students is increasing at the faculty.

Scientific council structure

13 professors and teachers, including the chairman of the trade union, the head of the Institute’s youth and 4 students, carry out their activities once a month on the basis of the approved work plan of the Academic Council. The scientific council discusses the implementation of resolutions and decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and decrees of the Cabinet of Ministers, internal orders of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and the Ministry of Health, as well as the Institute. The Academic Council of the faculty will analyze the progress of educational, methodical, scientific, spiritual, educational, youth and therapeutic work at the departments, the level of use of interactive methods, corrected shortcomings and developed an action plan.
