Every year on October 4, the World Animal Protection Day is widely celebrated around the world. On the occasion of this date, the Bukhara State Medical Institute held a spiritual and educational event and a drawing contest with the participation of students and teachers.

Students used their skills in the visual arts.

The main purpose of this event is to clarify the duty of humanity to protect animals from cruel and cruel treatment by forming people’s caring attitude towards animals, showing love for animals, abstaining from any kind of violence against animals and toughening penalties for such actions.

Vice – Rector Z.Bakhranova: “- Our goal is to prevent the public danger of ill–treatment, gross and unjustified destruction or harm to animals in front of minors, gross violation of generally recognized humane principles of animal treatment. At the same time, students should be taught that it is the sacred duty of every person to show kindness to all animals, whether domestic or stray animals, to share food with them and build shelters for them.

The students who won the drawing contest held during the event were awarded by the leadership of the Institute. We think that such events will be held throughout our republic. We are glad that the ecological party has faced the problem of animals. If we pay attention to stray animals in our country on cold winter days, and if actions are carried out to protect and feed them, if young people are involved in this, we will take a step towards humanity towards animals.
