History of the department

Admission of medical specialists to the master’s degree at the Bukhara State Medical Institute  Resolution of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education No. 263 of July 18, 2013  was established in accordance with the order of  The Master’s Department coordinates the activities of masters and clinical residents studying at the institute.  According to him, in the 2013-2014 academic year he was admitted to the master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, Internal Medicine (Therapy) and Morphology.

 In the 2013-2014 academic year, the Master’s Department was established at the Institute, and the head of the department was appointed Associate Professor of the Faculty and Hospital Surgery I. Mirkhodjayev.

 In the 2015-2016 academic year, on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-2359 dated June 23, 2015, a new master’s degree in sports medicine was opened.

 From 2015 to 2017, the head of the master’s department was the head of the Department of Histology and Medical Biology, Associate Professor Davronov Rahmon Davronovich.

 In 2015, 3 masters, in 2016, 18 masters, in 2017, 26 masters completed their master’s degree in their specialties, of which 20 continue their work at the institute.

 In the 2016-2017 academic year, on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-2534 dated May 26, 2016, new specialties of Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology and Cardiology were opened at Bukhara State Medical Institute.  In 2017, all areas of master’s and clinical residency passed the State Attestation and Accreditation by the DTM under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 From the 2017-2018 academic year, on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-2955 dated May 5, 2017, new specialties in Dermatovenereology and Dentistry were established.

 Masters of the Institute Boymurodov Ravshan and Zuhurov Sukhrob have been training abroad under the international grant program “TEMPUS”.

 Master students Kadyrov Bekhruzbek, Badriddinova Barnolar in 2017, Rizaeva Mexriban, Badriddinova Barnokhon, Kudratova Dilnoza, Jalolova Nigina, Kadyrov Behruzbek in 2018 on the basis of Samarkand State Medical Institute  took prestigious positions at the practical conference and received diplomas.  In February 2018, Tosheva Iroda and Oripova Feruza will undergo a qualifying internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the First Moscow State Medical University named after Sechenov in Moscow, Russian Federation.  In 2018 he participated in the Fourth Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Snegeryovskie chtenie” in Moscow and was awarded a Certificate.  Oripova Feruza, a master’s degree in obstetrics and gynecology, passed the regional stage in 2018 as a candidate for the Youth Union “Badge of Uzbekistan”.

  1. Dissertation topics were selected for 45 first-year master’s students and considered by their supervisors and the head of the department, and were first discussed at the department. The scientific topics of all masters in 20 specialties were discussed in the “Problem Commission” for 3 months and approved by the faculty council in late December.
  2. In the 2018-2019 academic year, the certification of master’s specialties was carried out at the end of the semester.
  3. It is planned to organize and conduct the final state certification (YAA) and master’s dissertation defense of graduate students at the Institute in June, as defined in the “Road Map” for the 2018-2019 academic year. In the 2018-2019 academic year, 20 graduates in 11 specialties, 9 of them on a grant basis, 11 on a contract basis.

 In the 2019-2020 academic year, a total of 59 students were admitted to the 1st year in 22 areas.  17 of them received grants, 42 – on a contract basis.

 From January 10, 2020, the head of the master’s department is Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology Ashurova Nigora Gafurovna.

 In the 2019-2020 academic year, certification of master’s specialties is carried out at the end of the semester.

 In the 2021-2022 academic year, a total of 96 students were admitted to the 1st year in 27 areas.  Of these, 24 grants and 72 payments were received on a contract basis.

         Dissertation topics were selected for 97 first-year master’s students, who were considered by their supervisors and the head of the department, and were first discussed at the department.  The scientific topics of all masters in 27 specialties were discussed in the “Problem Commission” for 3 months and approved by the faculty council at the end of December.

Currently, 255 students are studying in the master’s program. They actively conduct research activities on the basis of the institute, improve their knowledge both in professional sciences and in knowledge of foreign languages. The main part of master’s degree graduates continues their scientific activity, being assistants and doctoral students of the departments.

The purpose of the department in accordance with the tasks of the national model of Personnel Training in the higher educational institution is to organize training of highly qualified Masters – specialists who fully understand their responsibility before the society, state and family, deeply mastering professional, pedagogical, scientific, legal and psychological knowledge on the relevant specialty, based on the socio-economic development trends of our country.

Talented master’s students improve their knowledge and skills in leading medical institutions of foreign countries in the framework of international cooperation and academic mobility

In particular, Azizbek Inoyatov, a talented master’s student of the 2nd stage of 5A510401-Dentistry, is currently undergoing training at the “Aesthetic International” clinic in Istanbul, Turkey in the framework of academic mobility.

During the training, master’s students are directly involved in high-tech operations.

Ikhtiyor Hamdamov, a second-year student of 5A510131-Hematology and Transfusiology, successfully participated in a grant project of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and received a scholarship to study at Tokyo Medical and Dental University in Tokyo, Japan.

Master’s degree students continue to improve their skills within the framework of the academic mobility program.    

Affirmation of the topic of master's dissertation

From 22 to 28 December, Faculty Councils were held of the treatment, medical-pedagogical, pediatrics, medical prophylaxis and dental faculties of the Bukhara State Medical Institute, where the topics of the planned dissertations of 1st year masters were approved. Residents of the magistracy introduced the members of the Council in the presence of their scientific advisers with presentations on the topic of scientific work. At the Council the names of the topic, goals and tasks of scientific works were discussed. The topics of scientific work ,goal and objectives, theoretical and praktical significance of scientific work were discussed at the meeting.Master’s students were  given advice on the amount of material ,the object of study and  methods of examination.
