The leadership of the Campanian University of Italy has arrived in Bukhara

In recent years, cooperation between Uzbekistan and Italy has reached a new stage. This is especially evident in various projects implemented today in the field of education.

In December 2021, the administration of the Bukhara region and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Rome signed a preliminary memorandum-agreement between the leadership of the Bukhara region and the leadership of Campania University on the establishment of a branch of one of the prestigious Italian higher educational institutions – Luigi Vanvitelli Campania University in Bukhara.

On the basis of the signed agreement on the opening of a branch of the University of Campania in Bukhara, the training of bachelors and masters in the field of construction, architecture, fashion design, nursing was agreed on the basis of the curriculum of the University of Campania.

Vice-Rector for Innovative Technologies of the Italian University of Campania Luigi Maffei and Vice-Rector for International Relations Sergio Minucci, who were in our country yesterday, visited the new building of the Bukhara State Medical Institute. The rector of BUKHDTI Shukhrat Teshaev and vice-rectors met the guests in the new building of the institute.

Italian scientists highly appreciated the conditions and opportunities created at the Institute, medical techniques, a new clinic and the capabilities of the Simulation Center.

There they talked with students studying under the joint program of Higher Nursing, created in cooperation with the University of Campania.

In cooperation with the University of the Campaign, the issues of personnel training in the field of medicine, pharmacy and various narrow specialties based on the existing needs in the Bukhara region were discussed.

According to the previously signed memorandum of agreement, it was announced that the establishment of a branch of this university in the Bukhara region will begin in the near future.

Qualified professors of the University of Campania are involved in the educational process of the branch, and students are given the opportunity to practice in Italy.

The parties discussed in detail the curricula of joint educational programs and various organizational issues, agreed to accelerate work in this direction.

An agreement was also reached between the University of Campania and the Bukhara State Medical Institute on the establishment of a bilateral exchange of professors and students, the implementation of various scientific projects. In the future, specialists of the University of Campania will assist in the modernization of scientific laboratories of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan, provide grants to Uzbek students to obtain a doctorate degree, invite Uzbek professors and teachers to Italy to conduct scientific research, as well as provide students studying on the basis of a double diploma of study at the University of Campania.Readiness was expressed.
