Achievements of the department

     The scientific directions of the department are: “Development of causes and treatment of diseases of the ear, throat and upper respiratory tract in a rapidly changing climate” and “Development of causes and treatment of eye diseases in a rapidly changing climate.” 1 doctoral and 8 candidate works on this topic are defended at the department.

Teachers of the department R.R. Radjabov and N.U.Narzullaev improved their skills in distance learning at Krasnoyarsk Medical University. N.X.Voxidov, R.R.Radjabov, U.I.Nurov, N.U. In 2013, N.U.Narzullaev improved his skills and received a certificate in the field of treatment, which took place in the region. In 2019, the senior lecturer of the department R.R.Radjabov visited the Department of ENT Diseases of the Tajikistan State Medical University on academic mobility, gave lectures to students, conducted practical training, as well as patient examinations and participated in surgical procedures and exchanged experiences. In 2020, the senior teacher of the department R.R.Radjabov gave a lecture on otorhinolaryngology to students of the 4th stage of Karaganda State Medical University, practical training.

Associate Professor N.H.Vohidov in 2012 was awarded the badge “Excellence in Health” and assistant of the department H.N.Nurddinov in 2020 was awarded the badge “Mercy”.

The department has organized circles “Young otorhinolaryngologist” and “Young ophthalmologist”. U.R.Kasimov, a member of the “Young Otorhinolaryngologist” circle, was awarded a diploma of the 1st degree and a badge at the Scientific Conference “Best Young Scientists 2020” held in Kazakhstan on 28.09.2020 under the leadership of N.U. Narzullaev. Sh.Sh.Yakhyoev became the winner of the nomination “Scientific approach to solving problems” at the International Olympiad “Samarkand-2020” under the leadership of F.S.Ikramova.

 Employees of the department, along with academic work, conduct research. In particular, R.R.Boboyeva “Experimental study of choleretic activity of rutan”, G.B. Jo`rayeva “Clinical-laboratory studies of patients with changes in vision at renal insufficiency”, G.R.Odilova “Cranial morphometric detection of the characteristic light characteristic of light”, H.N.Nuriddinov conducts research on “Improvement of surgical treatment and rehabilitation of chronic polyposis rhinosinusitis”. In addition, the staff of the department has published many scientific articles and theses in local and foreign journals, created textbooks, monographs and electronic textbooks. In addition, the department has more than 10 rationalization proposals, received 5 patents, created 6 computer programs.

In the framework of economic cooperation between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Uzbekistan, according to the project of Bukhara State Medical Institute, Dr. Thomas Overlak visited Bukhara region from March 29 to April 14, 2019 to improve the skills of otorhinolaryngologists, gave lectures on “Ear Diseases” to students, masters and clinical residents of the department, and together with them conducted patient examinations and surgeries.

The department has organized circles “Young otorhinolaryngologist” and “Young ophthalmologist”, classes are regularly conducted by employees of the department. The members of the circle took part in conferences, as well as in the Republican competitions and won prizes.
