Abstract

In recent years, the global dental practice has achieved significant success in providing high-quality care to patients. This was facilitated by research on the etiology of dental diseases, the latest achievements in dental materials science and certain successes in creating effective methods of their treatment using modern medical equipment. However, clinical experience shows that doctors should deal more with patients who complain about a “poorly made” prosthesis, that is, a foreign body in the oral cavity, as they experience discomfort such as pain and tactile discomfort that occur for the first time after installation in the mouth.
