Abstract
The aim of the study is to determine the quantitative parameters of the extrahepatic biliary tract normally, depending on age and gender, according to magnetic resonance imaging. The results of magnetic resonance imaging of the extrahepatic biliary tract were studied normally in 437 people, residents of the border areas of Aktobe and Orenburg regions, who were examined with sus-picion of pathology of the abdominal organs, the pathology was not confirmed. The quantitative char-acteristics of the extrahepatic biliary tract obtained as a result of the study according to magnetic resonance imaging data allows us to identify some patterns of lifetime anatomy and topography in the age aspect and depending on gender.
