Abstract

Decreased sound perception by a person is commonly called hearing loss or deaf-ness. This takes place both in case of damage to the sound analyzer on the periphery, and its central departments. Globally, approximately 5.3% of the world's population, or 360 million people, suffer from hearing loss. Hearing loss is a condition that can develop throughout life, is associated with various risk factors, and can change with age [1, 2]. In the article, when studying the morphological pa-rameters of the craniofacial region in boys of 6 and 12 years old with hearing loss, age differences were compared. It has been established that the morphometric parameters of the craniofacial region increase depending on the age in children.
