Abstract

Purpose of the study. To determine and evaluate the role of blood serum optical density and biochemical markers in the prediction and early diagnosis of osteoporosis in women with postcastration syndrome. Material and method. To carry out the study, 80 women with risk factors for the development of osteoporosis with postcastration syndrome were studied in the period for 2019-2021. We carried out a systematic assessment of bone mineral density by the method of ultrasonic osteodensitometry (UOD) using the Sonost apparatus (South Korea, 2018) according to the standard program, measurement area, heel (heel bone). Conclusion. The number of radially symmetrical lines of structure formation is less than 10 per field of view, which is one of the indicators predicting metabolic changes in the female body at an early stage.
