Abstract
Nosocomial infections (hospital, nosocomial) are an urgent medical problem that is important for workers at any level of health care, including obstetric and gynecological services. This article suggests that in order to establish the main causes of nosocomial infections, developmental conditions and its specific manifestations, it is necessary to introduce epidemiological diagnostics into practice. An important role in the choice of disinfectants in the system of prevention of nosocomial infections is emphasized.
