Abstract
The purpose of this work was to study the fascicular structure of the glossopharyngeal nerve in the age aspect. Using the methods of Weigert-Pahl and Krutsay, glossopharyngeal nerves taken from the corpses of 15 fetuses, 9 newborns, 11 children of various ages and 17 adults were studied. To achieve the purpose of this work, celloidin blocks of the specified nerve were made and sections of the glossopharyngeal nerves were made nerves 10-15 microns thick. Few-tufted (1-3) and multi-tufted forms (up to 14) were identified. The obtained results for the areas of the beams in comparison with newborns increase in 8-month-old children by 1.1 times (08-1.3), in 4-yearold children 1.7 times (1.3-1.8), in 8- for year-old children by 2.1 times (2.0- 2.2) and in adults by 2.4 times (1.0-5.0)
