Abstract
The state of micro- and macrovascular blood flow was studied in 167 pregnant women, including those with obesity – in 63, with normal body weight – in 104. In obese pregnant women, an increase in the volume and number of large platelets was noted, which characterizes the hyperagregation syndrome in these patients, and, along with intravascular changes, it can form disorders of uterine blood flow in the uterine arteries and in the arteries of the umbilical cord. Such disorders create prerequisites for the development of fetoplacental insufficiency and complications in childbirth and need correction before delivery.
