Abstract
The biological method of pest control is based on the use of natural compounds of harmful organisms and microbiological preparations. Natural arthropods are divided into entomophages (feeding on insects) or acariphages (feeding on mites) based on their feeding characteristics. The biological method is carried out by artificially spreading the larvae of certain insects and mites in places where there is a danger of a pest multiplying. There are 2 ways to use entomophages on a large scale: the first is to find local species of entomophages and use them effectively, and the second is to bring invasive species from abroad (introduction) and adapt them to local conditions.
